| The Dwarf Cat Association By-Laws 1. The Dwarf Cat Association may be referenced by its full name, or by TDCA, in written & spoken expression, both carrying equal right & authority in use. 2. The Dwarf Cat Association will not knowingly accept any breed for registration that is intentionally bred with physically limiting deformities. 3. The Dwarf Cat Association will not tolerate the knowledge of the neglect or abuse of any cat or kitten in the care of anyone. 4. The Dwarf Cat Association will not, with knowledge, falsely register any cat or kitten. 4.1 The Dwarf Cat Association will not, with knowledge, misrepresent the breed, age, color or gender of any cat or kitten. 4.2 The Dwarf Cat Association will not, with knowledge, misrepresent the ancestry of any cat or kitten. 4.3 The Dwarf Cat Association will not, with knowledge, allow a recessive rexing or hairless gene carrier registration into any breed’s program where it is not within that breed’s parent breeds or allowable outcrosses. 5. The Dwarf Cat Association will register dwarf hybrid litters per kitten, by breed. The reasoning being that in hybrid litters, several breeds may be repressented by the kittens. Each kitten on a TDCA Litter Registration therefore has a space to designate it's breed. TDCA will require, however, that the breed registered be possible within the capability of the sire & dam bred to produce it! 6. The Dwarf Cat Association will only register long-legged cats or kittens that are born in hybrid litters or that are brought in for hybridized breeding purposes. They will be registered under their long-legged parent's breed name, if that is their breeder's choice, or as a non-Standard of the dwarf breed they're born into (the recessive hairless or rex being an exception, they must be registered under a hairless or rex breed, or hairless or rex carrying breed!). 7. The Dwarf Cat Association will treat all breeders & all breeds with equality & respect. 8. The Dwarf Cat Association will support all breeders’ efforts in the development, registration, advancement & promotion of all viable dwarf breed cats. The Dwarf Cat Association will support education of all breeders, pet owners & registering associations toward the acceptance of all viable dwarf breed cats. 9. The Dwarf Cat Association Officers retain the right of final authority in the resolution of any dispute regarding TDCA Registrations, Memberships & administration of The Dwarf Cat Association policies. Mediation will be arranged between TDCA & any complainant with an advisory panel chosen from within TDCA’s membership. If resolution is not possible, The Dwarf Cat Association will refund only current Membership dues or website listing fees, for the time unused, to complainant. 10. The officers of The Dwarf Cat Association, agree to fairly administer all rules & services with equality & courtesy to all *viable dwarf breed cats & breeders. In the event that this is not possible, or if a breed is proven not to be viable, The Dwarf Cat Association, through its Officers, reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Terri J.
